A dynamic and creative media company based in Los Angeles, producing content across television, film, digital, and branded platforms is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant.

The Junior Accountant will assist with general ledger entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and other basic accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow their accounting career in the media industry, with exposure to a variety of financial processes and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions

• Help prepare internal financial reports and supporting documentation

• Track and reconcile production and operational expenses

• Assist with vendor communications and payment inquiries

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships or relevant coursework a plus)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, formatting, basic pivot tables)

• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Excellent communication and willingness to learn

Preferred:

• Internship or prior experience in the media, entertainment, or creative industries

• Knowledge of GAAP principles

• Enthusiasm for the entertainment/media business
